Recently, the home of Elisabeth & Victor from LINFIN was featured in vtwonen magazine. The article highlighted their interior, designs, and the creativity of LINFIN.
Elisabeth & Victor frequently come up with new projects for their house and enjoy experimenting. Elisabeth says, "I love challenges and trying new things. The worst that can happen is that it fails." One of her projects was the kitchen, where she single-handedly poured the concrete countertop.
Elisabeth - LINFIN
"It was quite a rush job. I started in the early afternoon, knowing I had to be at the schoolyard to pick up the kids at a quarter to four. Not ideal.
Concrete can't be left to rest and think, 'I'll do it later.' It had to be done right the first time. The kitchen was a complete mess, utter chaos, but I did it. Exactly at a quarter to four, I was at the schoolyard, and the countertop was finished. Later, I discovered a crack in the concrete, which initially bothered me. But actually, it's fine like this. It's the charm of something handmade."
