We are Elisabeth & Victor. Designers, concept creators and parents of three kids. In our studio LINFIN, we are in awe of the materials we work with. Only the finest textiles and the purest materials are used in our timeless designs and interiors. We love 'beauty with less'. We apply this to our beautiful handmade designs, stylish lodgings, interiors, events, and our daily lives.
We take our time with each design and every detail, creating everything by hand.
And when organizing an event, we only work with local ingredients, products, and suppliers.
We also take the time for each guest who visits us, both in our studio and our accommodations.
Made in Maastricht
Studio LINFIN is located in a former laboratory of an old cement factory in Maastricht. From ceramic collections to classy clutches. From rugged tea towels to stylish linen kimonos. Everything is Handmade in Maastricht.
We are intensely proud of Maastricht, a city with a history in manufacturing. The city in the southernmost point of the Netherlands is home to many businesses where creativity and continuous innovation are in their DNA.
The creative manufacturing industry is deeply rooted in the Maastricht economy and society. We are proud that our studio can contribute to this.
Fabrics
Only the finest textiles and purest materials are used in our timeless designs and interiors.
Such as natural materials like leather and linen. Leather and linen are among the few materials that gracefully age with time and use. If they are good and fair. Therefore, we exclusively use European and organic materials.
However, they also require skill and patience to work with. Working with leather is a craft. But tanning leather is just as much of a craft. And craftsmanship takes time and expertise.
When we start with beautiful and fair leather for a bag, for example, we realize that the same leather has already been worked on for many hours by a craftsman.
Designs
Each design is specially made for you to enjoy. What LINFIN is definitely not. Is mass production. Instead, we offer limited quantities and custom-made products.
We pay attention to trends, but never lose sight of craftsmanship and quality. At the same time, we hope to design products that have a kind of 'eternity value'.
If you are not willing to pay the price for quality, sustainability, and craftsmanship, no worries. Feel free to buy elsewhere. LINFIN wants to have time for custom work. "Order today, deliver tomorrow" doesn't always apply at LINFIN.
