Cross-border Design Stool

Design studio LINFIN from Maastricht embarked on a truly exciting and cross-border collaboration. Together with steelwork studio Polmans from Visé in Wallonia, they developed a design stool. This handcrafted design chair, made from ecologically sourced European leather and steel, was initially created for a top sports event where LINFIN is responsible for the VIP locations' interior design.

Designer and owner Victor van der Stouwe: "Attention to craftsmanship, skill, sustainability, and 'Beauty with less' have always been at the forefront for us. So, it was only natural for us to seek collaboration close to home. Although the steel for our seating furniture comes from the other side of the border, our studios are located just 15 minutes apart."
